As part of its commitment to promoting healthy ageing and improving the well-being of older persons, Confidence Care Foundation worked with COSROPIN Jos Chapter to plan and implement the COSROPIN (VOICE) Sponsored Older Persons Hangout. The project involved stakeholder consultations, planning meetings, coordination with sponsors and partners, and programme design to ensure an inclusive and impactful experience for older adults.
The hangout provided a platform for older persons to access health education, medical consultations, glucose screening, and vital sign checks, while also encouraging social interaction through cultural dance performances, drama, games, sports, and other recreational activities. The initiative promoted healthy lifestyles, strengthened community engagement, and fostered the physical, mental, and social well-being of older persons.
