HelpAge International Catalytic Grant: Strengthening Community-Based Care for Older People in Plateau State

January – July Jos, plateau State

Funded through the HelpAge International Catalytic Grant, Confidence Care Foundation implemented a seven-month project to strengthen community-based care for older people in Plateau State, Nigeria. The project improved access to healthcare and psychosocial support through caregiver training, community support groups, health promotion, disease prevention initiatives, and community-based interventions, contributing to healthier, more resilient communities and improved quality of life for older persons.

Confidence Care Foundation (CCF) is a non profit, non discriminatory organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for the disadvantages and vulnerable in society. Founded on 28th June 2017 in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria Formerly Confidence Aged Care home, CCF was established with a vision to raise the standard of care, empowering individuals and create an inclusive community where dignity, compassion, and support are at the core of everyday living.
